The Macintosh Lucis Pro 6 is 32-bit software only. It is priced at a fraction of the price of the Windows software because it will not work in CS6 or Creative Cloud or Elements 12. 1. Windows PhotoshopCS6 Installation : Most customers have experienced a problem with installation. The issue is very simple to fix. Lucis software installs into the Filters folder which is under the Plug-ins folder in Photoshop. (My LucisArt software has been installed into the Filters folder since 1999.) CS6 does not have a Filters folder. So as you install LucisArt 3 Photoshop CS6 comes up as an option but then the installer cannot find the Filters folder and the installation fails. This is just an issue with the installer. The LucisArt 3 plug-in works if it is installed into the Filters folder or the Plug-ins folder. There are two workarounds. I recommend solution #1 because then the Filters folder is there in case you need to reinstall Lucis Pro 6. Also you need to use option #1 if you want to install LucisArt 3 into CS6 and CC. 1) Install LucisArt 3 into a Filters folder you create: Make sure Photoshop CS6 is off. Navigate to the Plug-ins folder in CS6 and if you do not see a Filters folder create one. Then install LucisArt 3 as normal. 2) Install LucisArt 3 into the Plug-ins folder: Make sure CS6 is off. Then during the installation do not select CS6 even if it shows up as an option. Select 'Other.' When you select 'Other' you must tell the installer where to put the LucisArt 3 plug-in. So navigate to the Plug-ins folder in CS6. Just select the Plug-ins folder and continue with the installation. 2. Sometimes when creating environments, you want to ensure that they always
- start new paragraph when two environments appear immediately after one another
- eat up spaces
- generally idiot-proof (which, dare I say, might also be called 'fully LaTeX compatible')
I have seen a few techniques. Are there any recommended ways of doing this to avoid trouble?
This one can handle begin{test}end{test}begin{test}end{test} back to back. I used parnoindent in the before environment hook. Is this the right way to do this? Based on this answer https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/22853/13552, it seems that I would also need leavevmode. Could somebody clarify this and any other tips that are 'good practice'.

If you want that the environment starts a new paragraph with no indentation and also ignores spaces after it,
The missing ignorespaces is the cause for the small spaces in the third example. This happens because noindent starts a new paragraph (note that par only ends a paragraph) and so the space after begin{test} (generated by the end-of-line) is not ignored.

egregegregIt is almost always best to avoid starting horizontal mode in the begin code of the environment, so do not use noindent or leavevmode etc.
The usual way is as a trivlist, the exact parameters of which can be customised, and this is how centerquoteverbatim etc work.
Note your test file makes overfull lines as the fbox adds space around a parbox that is already full width.
To see one (of many) disadvantages to starting hmode in the environment definition try a test such as
with the definition here and compare with other definitions. Environments that start a paragraph ought to silently accept the environment content starting with a paragraph break.
